Andrea Maclennan

Andrea MacLennan is a seasoned coastal geomorphologist with extensive experience in conducting coastal geomorphic assessments, climate change adaptation planning, and geospatial analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Coastal Geomorphologist at Herrera Environmental Consultants since April 2020, Andrea focuses on strategic restoration and protection objectives, as well as homeowner outreach. Prior roles include Senior Coastal Geomorphologist and Associate Coastal Geomorphologist at Coastal Geologic Services from September 2003 to April 2020, and positions with various organizations that involved scientific expertise, coastal zone research, and environmental science. Andrea holds a Master of Science in Physical Geography from Western Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from The Evergreen State College.
