Debbie McKinley

Debbie McKinley is an accomplished human resources executive currently serving as Chief People Officer at Herschend Family Entertainment since February 2024, where the focus is on creating memorable experiences for families. Prior to this role, McKinley held various leadership positions at The Home Depot from October 2014 to February 2024, including Vice President of Human Resources for US Stores and International Operations. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Director of Human Resources for US Operations and Western Division. In a commitment to community service, McKinley served as Chairman of the Board for the Veterans Empowerment Organization from July 2018 to July 2022, supporting initiatives for homeless veterans in Atlanta. McKinley's military background includes over 20 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. McKinley holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Development and Public Administration from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the United States Naval Academy.
