Debbie McKinley

Debbie McKinley currently serves as Chief People Officer at Herschend Family Entertainment, focused on enhancing family experiences through the company's mission of creating memorable moments. Previously, Debbie held various leadership roles at The Home Depot from June 2002 to February 2024, including Vice President of Human Resources for US Stores and International Operations, where a cross-functional team was led to identify and develop senior leadership talent. Additionally, Debbie was Chairman of the Board for the Veterans Empowerment Organization from July 2018 to July 2022, dedicated to supporting homeless veterans in Atlanta. Debbie is a retired member of the United States Marine Corps and holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development and Public Administration from Webster University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the United States Naval Academy.
