Jenifer Holden has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jenifer began their career in 1992 as a student at the University of Houston and later attended Stephen F. Austin State University. Jenifer then worked as a Store Manager at Kirkland's from 1996 to 2001.
In 2002, Jenifer joined Lexus Group, INC as a Regional Manager, a role they held until 2010. During their time at Lexus Group, INC, they excelled in managing regional operations.
From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an Operations Manager at Image Hospitality, where they gained experience in managing various aspects of hotel operations.
Jenifer then joined NewcrestImage in 2010 as a General Manager, where they developed strategies to maximize profits and efficiently forecast expenses and revenue goals. Jenifer also oversaw different department heads and conducted sales events to generate new revenue.
Jenifer moved to Hersha Hospitality in 2012 and served as a General Manager until 2015. During their tenure, they successfully managed hotel operations and ensured compliance with brand standards.
In 2015, Jenifer became the General Manager at Sleep Inn & Suites / Mainstay in Lufkin, TX. Jenifer opened and managed a newly built hotel and exceeded revenue growth based on comp set by 103%. Jenifer was responsible for managing budgets ranging from $250,000 to $1 million.
In 2018, they joined Ulta Beauty as a Retail Sales Manager for a brief period before returning to the hospitality industry. Jenifer rejoined Hersha Hospitality Management as a General Manager in 2018 and subsequently became the Area Director of Operations in February 2022.
Jenifer Holden's education history begins in 1991 at the University of Houston where they studied English/Language Arts Teacher Education until 1993. Following that, they attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education.
