Suzanne Westlake is a seasoned professional in corporate sustainability and responsibility, currently serving as the Global Director of Sustainability at pladis Global since November 2023. In addition to this role, Suzanne is a Trustee at Hertfordshire Community Foundation, which is the largest grant maker in Hertfordshire's voluntary sector. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Corporate Responsibility & Corporate Affairs at Ocado from May 2014 to November 2023, and as Corporate Responsibility Manager at DHL from May 2007 to April 2014. Suzanne also held the position of Sustainability Manager at BAA from April 2003 to May 2008. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and an MSc in Human Nutrition & Metabolism from the University of Aberdeen.

Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF) is an independent charity that encourages local giving to make Hertfordshire a better place to live, for everyone. Thanks to the support of our donors we provide grants to families in crisis, grassroots charities and voluntary groups, helping some of our county's most vulnerable residents. Over the past three decades HCF has funded thousands of local initiatives addressing complex social issues including domestic abuse, learning disabilities, bereavement, homelessness, mental health and many more.
