Cathy Shea

Cathy Shea is a seasoned professional in children's services management with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Group Manager at Hertfordshire County Council since August 2013, Cathy previously held the position of Service Manager for Children's Services at Cumbria County Council from July 2006 to June 2013, and was also Service Manager for Looked After Children Resources at Gloucestershire County Council from 2002 to 2006. Additional roles include Principal Officer at Newport City Council and Residential Manager at Westminster City Council. Cathy has a strong academic background, holding a Master of Arts in Integrated Children's Services from the University of Cumbria, along with dual MBAs from Cass Business School and City, University of London, an MSc in Social Policy and Social Work from The London School of Economics, and an MSc in Child Development from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society.
