Darren Bowler

Darren Bowler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in counter-fraud operations and investigation. Currently serving as Counter Fraud Manager at Hertfordshire County Council since March 2017, Darren oversees a team of Investigators and Senior Investigators, focusing on client relationship management and effective training delivery. Additionally, since April 2022, Darren holds the position of Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) within the Shared Anti Fraud Service. Prior to this, Darren dedicated 30 years to the Metropolitan Police, progressing from Detective Constable to Detective Sergeant and Team Leader, where responsibilities included administering a Joint Investigation Team Framework and investigating organized financial crime involving national and international criminal gangs.
