Marc G. Wilcox, PhD, currently serves as the Biodiversity Net Gain and Local Nature Recovery Strategy Project Manager at Hertfordshire County Council, leading the development of a local nature recovery strategy and collaborating with external partners to enhance biodiversity. Previously, Marc worked as a Graduate Management Trainee at Hertfordshire County Council, where significant contributions included the redesign and implementation of council values and the creation of the Covid Recovery Strategy. Prior experience includes serving as a Customer Advice Officer at Bradford Council, managing customer inquiries and administrative tasks, and as a Tutor at the University of Leeds, where responsibilities encompassed teaching undergraduate courses in philosophy, developing educational materials, and organizing academic events. Marc holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Leeds, along with an MA from the University of Southampton and a BA from the University of Reading.
