Matt Cottam

Matt Cottam has held various key positions in the field of transport planning and strategic development since 2015. Currently, Matt serves as the Local Plans & Strategic Development Lead and Strategy & Programme Manager at Hertfordshire County Council since March 2021. Previously, Matt was a Freelance Consultant, providing expert guidance while self-employed from December 2020 to March 2021. Prior experience includes a Senior Consultant role at Integrated Transport Planning Ltd., focusing on sustainable transport strategies and project management for local authorities between January 2016 and September 2020. Earlier, Matt worked as an Implementation Administrator at Argos For Business, overseeing customer on-boarding processes. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geography from the University of Northampton, completed in 2015.
