Craig Welter Afm

Craig Welter, AFM, has extensive experience in agricultural management and research. Currently serving as a Professional Farm Manager at Hertz Farm Management since June 2018, Craig previously worked as a Research Assistant in Iowa State University's Economics Department, contributing to farmland rental rate surveys and cover crop surveys from April 2015 to May 2018. Craig also held roles as a Freshman Peer Mentor in the Agricultural Business program, a Farm Management Intern at Hertz Farm Management, an Agronomy Sales Intern at Landus Cooperative, a Crop Scout Intern at Innovative Ag Services, and a Customer Service Representative at F&M Savings Bank. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Monticello and working on the diversified crop and livestock farm, WELTER IDLE-NOT FARMS, LTD. Craig earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University in 2018 and graduated from Monticello High School in 2014.
