Roger Chiang has worked in the IC engineering industry since 2000. Roger began their career as a Digital IC Design Engineer at Shenzhen Asic Co. Ltd., where they designed ADSP-2100 series compatible DSPs and ARM7TDMI compatible CPUs. In 2002, they moved to Sunplus as a Digital IC Design Engineer, where they designed LCD controllers and SPI IP Cores with I2C/SPI mixed Interfaces. In 2004, they joined LongJing as a Sr. Digital IC Design Engineer, where they participated in the design and verification of AVS Receiving Terminals and MIPS I Compatible CPUs, as well as TFT LCD drivers and Color STN drivers. In 2008, they moved to Newvision as a Sr. Digital IC Design Engineer, where they participated in the design and verification of LCD Drivers in QVGA resolutions, as well as mentoring Junior Engineers. In 2010, they moved to Himax as a Project Manager, where they participated in the development of automotive MCU chips and the design and verification of SoC, as well as FPGA verification. In 2018, they moved to Chipways as a Sr. Digital IC Engineer, where they were responsible for the design and implementation of Digital ICs, as well as defining requirements, formulating specifications, and making plans for IC projects. Roger currently works at Hesai Technology as a Sr. IC Engineer, where they are responsible for developing implementation plans and promoting the implementation of IC projects.
Roger Chiang received their Bachelor's degree in Control Science and Technology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Chengdu Technological University between 1996 and 1999.
