Caroline Gilbert serves as Senior Assistant General Counsel at Hess Corporation since November 2011, leading legal counsel for all off-shore operations in the Gulf of Mexico as well as for Denmark, Norway, and Libya. Caroline previously held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Hess Corporation, overseeing operations in Equatorial Guinea and exploration activities in the Paris Basin. Prior to their tenure at Hess, Caroline worked as an Attorney at Flowserve, focusing on the review, drafting, and negotiation of various international and domestic agreements while ensuring compliance with legal and corporate policies. Caroline holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Business and International Law from the University of Houston Law Center, a Master of Laws in European Law, and a Maitrise en Droit (JD equivalent) in International and Business Law from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III).
