Jay Marinis

Jay Marinis is a highly experienced Principal Psychologist and Managing Director at Topsoil Garden Project, where additional responsibilities include serving as Deputy Chair. Since January 2023, Jay has also held positions as Study Therapist at the University of Melbourne and Research Assistant at Orygen. With a strong background in psychology, Jay has worked as Consultant Psychologist and Manager of Psychology, Counselling and Behaviour Support at Hessel Group since November 2018, and served as Director at The Scenic Hotel since November 2020. Previous roles include Managing Director at Son of Dot from June 2018 to January 2023 and Psychosocial Support Worker at Uniting Communities between 2017 and 2019. Jay began academic pursuits at the University of Adelaide and is currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Sydney alongside a Master's in Clinical Psychology from The Cairnmillar Institute.
