Susan Darroch

Susan Darroch is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in investment management. Currently serving as an Advisor for HESTA since December 2022, Susan is also a member of the Investment Committee for The Pinnacle Foundation until May 2025. Previously, Susan held the position of Non-Executive Director at AvSuper, contributing to the Investment Committee and Administration & Member Services Committee from May 2021 to November 2022. With a notable tenure at State Street Global Advisors from July 1999 to July 2019, Susan was the Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Equity Beta Solutions for the Asia Pacific region, managing approximately A$200 billion in assets. Additional roles include serving as the Chair of the Investment Committee and Non-Executive Director for the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, as well as various positions in portfolio and money market management at Commonwealth Funds Management, Rothschild Australia Limited, Chuo Trust and Banking, and Dai-Ichi Kangyo Australia Limited. Susan holds a BEC in Economics from Macquarie University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
