Ana Ferreira is an experienced Outreach Advocate with the Modern Slavery Response Team at Hestia Charity since January 2022, providing vital support to individuals affected by trafficking and modern slavery. Responsibilities include offering emotional and practical assistance, advocating for clients' rights under the European Convention Against Trafficking in Human Beings, and implementing safeguarding measures. Ferreira has also been a Counterterrorism Champion, advising on radicalization and supporting vulnerable clients. Additionally, prior experience includes a role as a Support Worker focusing on complex needs and an internship with the Portuguese Armed Forces' Cyber Defence Department. Ana Ferreira holds a Master of Science in Organised Crime, Terrorism, and Security from the University of Essex and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from the University of Lisbon.
