Michael Kembel

Michael Kembel is an experienced professional currently serving as a Board Member at Het Concertgebouw since December 2022 and as the Chair of the Supervisory Board for Strijkkwartet Biënnale Amsterdam since May 2024. Kembel co-founded MyGivts.nl in March 2022 and is a Partner at Short Selection Fund, an investment fund focusing on short/long equity investments across Europe, North America, and Asia, since November 2020. Kembel has held various leadership roles, including Owner of MSK Advies Business Coaching, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Jolley Holding Aruba VBA and C. Kersten en Co. N.V., and a member of the Supervisory Board for the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) since April 2020. In addition, Kembel serves as Treasurer for Stichting The East West Foundation and is a member of the Advisory Board at Ambassador Vermogensbeheer. Kembel holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
