Xiang Hua Zhang

Xiang Hua Zhang is a highly experienced pulmonologist with a focus on thoracic oncology. Currently working at Het Van Weel-Bethesda Ziekenhuis since January 2022, Zhang previously held roles as a thoracic oncologist and interventional pulmonologist at UZA from 2017 to 2019, and served as a fellow in thoracic oncology at UZA from 2014 to 2015. Zhang's academic background includes a medical degree from KU Leuven, followed by specialized training in respiratory medicine at Maastricht UMC+, and advanced qualifications in thoracic oncology from Antwerp University Hospital. Zhang's career also includes contributions to the EORTC as part of the Young Investigator Lung Cancer Group and experience as a locum pulmonologist in various hospitals across the Netherlands, Belgium, Curaçao, and Aruba from 2012 to 2017.
