Ashwin Gurjar

Ashwin Gurjar has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Ashwin started their career as a Medical Representative at Torrent Pharmaceuticals in 2000. Ashwin then worked as a Product Manager at Cipla Pharmaceuticals in 2004. Later, they joined Unichem Pharmaceuticals (USA), Inc. as a Product Manager Africa, where they focused on designing and executing market-specific campaigns across Africa. In 2007, they became the Group Product Marketing Manager at Ajanta Pharma Ltd, where they led the launch of human and veterinary brands in Africa and CIS markets. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as the Chief Manager Asia at Piramal Critical Care (PCC) INC., where they successfully launched PCC-Inhalation anesthesia across Southeast Asia. Currently, Ashwin is serving as the Country Head at Hetero, where they are responsible for the full P&L and operational management of the market. Ashwin has achieved significant accomplishments, including delivering sales and profit objectives, formulating strategies for API operations, setting up new sales teams, and collaborating with local companies and distributors.

Ashwin Gurjar completed their Senior Leader Program in Business Administration and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Marketing from K J Somaiya Institute of Management from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a B.Pharma degree from Vidyabharati College of Pharmacy in Amravati from 1996 to 2000. Finally, Ashwin Gurjar completed their SSC (Secondary School Certificate) from Bhavans A H Wadia High School from 1984 to 1994.
