Karishma Khemani

Karishma Khemani started their career as an Internship Trainee at Fortis Healthcare in 2010. Karishma then worked at Lupin as a Quality Control Officer from June 2014 to June 2015 and as an Investigations Officer from July 2015 to November 2016. From December 2016 to April 2020, Karishma worked at Zydus Group in Investigations and Compliance. In 2020, they founded Heuristics Pharma Perceptions and served as the Founder & CEO, aiming to create error-free environments in the pharmaceutical industry. Also in 2020, Karishma founded SECA Intelligence, a cloud-based AI-enabled investigation and error control software for the pharmaceutical industry. In 2022, they became a member of both the PDA - Parenteral Drug Association and the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, India. Additionally, Karishma joined the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors in 2020, initially as a Community Representative and later as a member of the CIEHF Community - Pharma Sector Group.

Karishma Khemani obtained a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, spanning from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained multiple certifications in various fields such as project management, GMP audits, decision making, human factors in healthcare, psychology, entrepreneurship, and financial advisory services. These certifications were earned from reputable institutions such as the Institute of Project Management, Project Management Institute, NSF International - Health Sciences, University of Leeds, US Pharmacopeia, FDA, University of East Anglia, Udemy, Alison, and the Singapore College Of Insurance.
