Mustafa Onurcan Şahan

Mustafa Onurcan Şahan has a diverse work experience in the fields of deep learning, computer vision, SAP consulting, and image acquisition. Mustafa Onurcan currently works as a Deep Learning Engineer at Hevi AI since July 2022. Prior to this, they were a Computer Vision R&D Engineer at TÜM ELEKTRONİK MÜH. SAN. TİC. LTD. ŞTİ from January 2022 to June 2022. Mustafa Onurcan also worked as a SAP Basis Consultant at BTC Bilişim Hizmetleri from July 2021 to January 2022. In addition, they gained experience at TÜBİTAK ULUSAL METROLOJİ ENSTİTÜSÜ as a Project Scholarship participant from June 2020 to June 2021, where they developed image acquisition applications and algorithms for various camera types and a real-time temperature detection system. Mustafa Onurcan also interned as an Engineering Intern at TÜBİTAK ULUSAL METROLOJİ ENSTİTÜSÜ from August 2020 to September 2020. Earlier in their career, Mustafa interned at Perkon Teknoloji as an Engineering Intern, where they focused on programming and renaming RFID tags and maintaining broken LED panels in August 2018.

Mustafa Onurcan Şahan completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Kocaeli University from 2016 to 2021. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biomedical Engineering at Boğaziçi University, starting in 2022. In addition to their formal education, Mustafa Onurcan Şahan has obtained various certifications, including the AI for Medicine Specialization and Deep Learning Specialization from DeepLearning.AI, the Fundamentals of Digital Image and Video Processing from Coursera, and Getting Started with AI on Jetson Nano from NVIDIA, among others.
