Sameer Rashid has worked for a number of companies since 2000. In 2000, they were a Business Development Summer Associate for Across Frontiers. The following year, they became an Analyst for Deutsche Bank. In 2005, they Co-Founded and became Chief Strategist of Think 21, an organic waste recycling project development firm. In 2009, they were Business Development Manager for Harvest Power, Inc. From 2011 to 2021, they were a Partner at Pure Energy Partners, a clean economy venture catalysts. In 2015, they Co-Founded and became Managing Partner of SuperCollider. In 2017, they became an Investor and Chair of the Board of Advisors at HEVO and an Investor at Numina.co. In 2018, they became a Mentor for the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator.
Sameer Rashid attended The George Washington University from 1997 to 2001 and obtained a B.A. in Economics.
