Terry Kung

Terry Kung has extensive experience in college counseling and guidance, currently serving as the Director of College Guidance at The Hewitt School since June 2021. Previously, Terry held positions as Interim Director of College Counseling and Consultant at Oakwood School from October 2020 to May 2021, and as Director of College Counseling at Brooklyn Friends School from July 2014 to September 2020. Additional roles include Co-Director of College Counseling and Academic Counselor at Immaculate Heart High School, and Co-Director of College Counseling and Admission Associate for Outreach at Oakwood School. Terry began the career in higher education as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Columbia University from August 1998 to August 2001. Terry holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree from Columbia University, a Master's degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Teachers College, and a high school diploma from The Pingry School.
