Thierry Pienaar

Thierry Pienaar is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and cloud services. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer for AI & HPC Worldwide Sales at Hewlett Packard Enterprise since 2016, Thierry has held various leadership positions, including Chief Technologist for Data Engineering & Infrastructure in CME North America and Chief Technologist for the AT&T account. Previously, Thierry contributed pro bono as an advisor to The George Washington University's Digital Marketing Council from 2020 to 2022. Thierry's career includes significant roles at HP, Nokia Siemens Networks, ThruPoint, Cable & Wireless Communications, BCX, and Security Consulting/ACL, showcasing a diverse background in technology management and consulting. Thierry holds an M.B.A. in Strategic Management and a Diploma in Executive Management from Henley Business School, along with a qualification in Security Practice and Risk Management from the University of South Africa.
