Thomas Ackermann

Thomas Ackermann, CPA, has extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning, currently serving as the Financial Area Manager for Public Sector in the Central Region at HPE Financial Services since 2012. In this role, Thomas specializes in developing IT investment strategies for State & Local, K-12, and Higher Education clients, focusing on consumption-based payment models to facilitate transformational IT projects. Prior to HPE, Thomas worked at IBM Global Financing for over two decades, holding various leadership positions, including Channels Financing Executive and Business Unit Executive for Client Financing, where Thomas managed sales teams and structured financing agreements for large commercial clients. Earlier experience includes roles at Rolm Credit Corporation and Price Waterhouse, with a strong foundation in taxation and financial analysis, supported by an MBA and BBA in Accounting and Finance from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago.
