Ben Frunjyan, PhD

Ben Frunjyan, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Ben began their career as an Audit Consultant at AN Audit CJSC, where they participated in audit engagements and reviewed clients' accounting and internal control systems. Ben then worked as a Financial Control Analyst at HSBC, where they conducted ad-hoc projects and analyses, provided information to management, and assisted in user-acceptance testing.

In 2016, Ben joined Yerevan State University as a Lecturer for a brief period. Ben then transitioned to the role of Product and Project Manager at Grōksmith, where they coordinated teams of Engineers, Product Designers, and QAs, implemented agile practices, and communicated product requirements to engineers.

In 2017, Ben co-founded Certifire and served as the Chief Product Officer (CPO). In this role, they understood and represented user needs, monitored the market, developed competitive analyses, and delivered product requirements with prioritized features.

In 2018, they were promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Grōksmith. As COO, Ben implemented business strategies, established policies to promote company culture and vision, and evaluated the performance of product teams through data analysis.

Currently, Ben holds the position of Chief Product Officer at Grōksmith, where they manage a portfolio of startups and leads and consults all product teams in product discovery and delivery phases.
