HEX Performance
Lowry has spent more than a decade developing sustainable products that cause major disruption in the consumer goods category. Building one of the world's most iconic sustainable cleaning brands from the ground up, Lowry grew Method to a $100MM company before selling it to Ecover in 2012. With a strong belief that business is our greatest vehicle for positive social and environmental change, he continued on as co-founder of Ripple Foods, maker of pea-based protein beverages and foods. Lowry led the business to a fast start — pulling in $110 million in capital since 2014 — with an array of innovative and nutritious alt-dairy products such as milks, creamers and yogurts. Prior to founding Method and Ripple Foods, Adam worked as a climate scientist at the Carnegie Institution for Science Department of Global Ecology, where he developed software products for the modeling of climate change. That public sector experience, combined with his earlier experience designing environmentally preferred automotive products, formed the nucleus of his unique approach of commercial environmentalism. Adam has been honored as one of Fortune's 40 Under 40 and is a Clinton Global Citizen Award recipient from the Clinton Global Initiative for his pioneering work on sustainable business and product design.
