Rajani M Shenoy has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Software Engineer at Infosys, where they worked in the ESOR (Enterprise Solutions - Oracle) unit on an Oracle Fusion Apps migration project. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Teaching Assistant for Cell and Tissue Culture and Biochemistry at the University at Buffalo. Rajani then worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute from 2014 to 2015. Since 2015, they have been a Life Science Research Professional at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they have held roles I, II, and III. In their current role as Senior Research Associate at Hexagon Bio, they have worked in collaboration with research teams in the lab to achieve genome editing at single nucleotide resolution in disease linked SNPs defined by MPRA assay. Rajani has performed genome editing in significant SNP loci using the CRISPR/Cas9 and CRISPR/Cas12a tools, assessed editing efficiency by T7E1 endonuclease assay and Sanger sequencing, analyzed sequencing results, and isolated RNA from CRISPR edited cells.

Rajani M Shenoy completed a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University at Buffalo between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a B.E in Biotechnology from Visvesvaraya Technological University between 2005 and 2009.
