Samuel K. Oteng-Pabi

Samuel K. Oteng-Pabi has worked in the field of drug discovery since 2018. Samuel K. began their career at Zymergen as a Scientist I, Metagenomics, and progressed to Scientist II, Drug Discovery/Metagenomics, Scientist III, Drug Discovery, and Senior Scientist, Drug Discovery. In 2017, they worked as a Research Scientist, Enzyme Engineering at Hyasynth Bio, where they lead the design and implementation of enzyme-engineering focused projects. Prior to this, they held the position of Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa from 2011, where they were responsible for instructing students on concepts previously discussed throughout the course. Samuel K. is currently working as a Senior Scientist, Drug Discovery at Hexagon Bio since 2022.

Samuel K. Oteng-Pabi received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biological Chemistry from the University of Ottawa in 2017, after completing a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the same university in 2011.
