Jakob Skov

Jakob Skov has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jakob is currently serving as the Head of Business Unit Harsh Environment at Hexatronic since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Chairman & Co-Founder at Optheras A/S starting from June 2022. Jakob also served as a General Member Board at AeroCollect A/S from July 2021. Jakob is the owner of JS Trusted Advisor since August 2015. Jakob has also served as a Member of the Board at OCTLIGHT from June 2016 to March 2023. Before that, they worked at GreenLab as the Chief Operating Officer & Commercial Officer from September 2020 to May 2022. Additionally, Jakob held the position of Director of Business Development and Investor Relations at Centaflow from January 2019 to July 2020. Jakob worked at FORCE Technology in various roles including SVP, Product Division Electronics & Microelectronics from July 2017 to December 2018 and VP Business Development and Strategy from June 2016 to June 2017. Jakob has significant experience in the photonics industry, having served as the CEO of NKT Photonics A/S from April 2009 to August 2015. Jakob played a key role in merging two companies and establishing NKT Photonics as a leading supplier of high-performance fiber lasers and photonic crystal fibers. Prior to that, they were the CEO of a high-tech spin-out company. Jakob also served as an Advisory Board member at DTU Fotonik from September 2012 to July 2015.

Jakob Skov completed their MBA in International Business Administration from Aarhus BSS - Aarhus University between 1991 and 1993. Prior to that, they attended Viborg Katedralskole from 1983 to 1986 as a student. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in "Reid Hoffman and Chris Yeh on Blitzscaling" from LinkedIn in 2020.
