Ajay Verma

Ajay Verma has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. Ajay began their career in 2009 as a VMS Consultant at PRS for Music. In the same year, they started working at Credit Suisse as a Front Office Applications Support Team Leader/BA in the Prime Services Group. In 2011, they moved to Commerzbank AG as an Applications Manager (Projects) and worked on a project to migrate the back office modules to a UNIX based system from a legacy system Open VMS. In 2012, they became Trading Applications Manager- APAC Region at CMC Markets and oversaw the trading applications for the retail and partner clients. In 2015, they joined Standard Chartered Bank as a Project/Program Manager. In 2017, they returned to Scotiabank as a Project/Program Manager and was responsible for managing up to 7 major workstreams across US locations. In 2018, they became a Consultant at BMO Capital Markets and also founded Hexerve Solutions Inc, where they defined the strategy for startup clients and recommended cost-effective solutions. In 2019, they joined Botsford Associates as Managing Partner and Scotiabank as Program Manager - Finance and Product Control, managing the implementation of Oracle FCCS, EDMCS, ARCS Modules for Balance Sheet Attestation and substantiation program in the public cloud.

Ajay Verma attended Harvard University from 2018 to 2022 and obtained a Masters in Business Management in Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they are ITIL Version 3.0 Certified.
