Karin Ljung ♦️

Karin Ljung began their career in 2000 as a Maskinoperatör at ERICSON. Karin then moved to Holmen AB in 2007, where they held the roles of Business Controller, Treasury Controller, and Junior Controller. In 2014, they joined Holmen Energi AB as Financial Director, where they reported to the CEO of the business area and was part of the Management team. Karin had personal responsibility for people of 3 and was involved in driving the change that the business area has made and is doing. Her role included developing processes for decision-making and management of the business, which includes defining goals and KPI’s linked to Strategy. In 2022, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Hexicon.

Karin Ljung has a Master degree in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics (2005-2007). Karin also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Baltic Business School (2002-2005). Additionally, Karin has completed a Styrelseutbildning from Board Company and a Senior leadership programme from Ruter Dam in 2021.
