David Baldwin

David Baldwin has extensive work experience in the supply chain field. David started their career at Chemical Abstracts Service as an Associate Chemical Information Editor from June 2002 to February 2004. Following that, they joined Hexion Inc., where they held various roles. David worked as a Supply Chain Plan Analyst from 2004 to 2007, where they trained business segments on forecasting, capacity planning, and other planning tools. From 2007 to 2009, they served as the East Region Supply Chain Manager, responsible for maintaining inventory levels, scheduling production, and optimizing network capacity. David then became the Bulk Logistics Procurement Manager from 2009 to 2011, negotiating trucking services for Hexion. David was later promoted to the role of Global Sales, Inventory, & Operations Leader from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Commodity Manager, developing procurement strategies for raw materials. Lastly, David currently holds the position of Director, Supply Chain Analytics, starting in May 2022 at Hexion. In this role, they provide leadership in supply chain strategy development, implementation of procedures and tools, and drives cost reduction and improved profitability through decision support tools.

David Baldwin earned their MBA in Logistics and Operations Management from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Ohio Wesleyan University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Before their college education, David attended Reynoldsburg High School, although no specific dates or degrees were provided for this period.
