Jason Maurer

Jason Maurer has extensive experience in engineering, production, and environmental management, with over two decades in the chemical and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Engineering & Technical Leader at Hexion Inc. since August 2011, Jason leads an engineering department focused on process optimization and capital expenditure management. Previous roles include Production Superintendent and Engineering & Maintenance Manager, as well as Energy Consultant Engineer at MPC Energy, LLC. Earlier experience includes several positions at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, where Jason managed facilities and environmental compliance, and at The Dow Chemical Company, where responsibilities included production engineering, quality control, and process improvement using Six Sigma methodologies. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tri-State University and an Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Chemistry from Ferris State University.
