Thom Gridley

Thom Gridley has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product design and management. Thom is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Product Design at HEYDUDE since November 2022. Prior to this, they founded Endeavor Design Scholarships in 2021, where they have awarded over $7,000 to date and is actively exploring additional awards and opportunities.

Thom has also held several key positions at renowned companies like PUMA Group, where they worked as the Global Creative Director of Footwear & Apparel Design from 2020 to 2022. Thom has also served as the Global Head of Footwear Design from 2018 to 2020 and the Global Head of Apparel Design in 2017. Before joining PUMA, Thom worked at Saucony as the Director of Design from 2006 to 2013 and at New Balance as a Global Design Manager from 2003 to 2006.

Earlier in their career, Thom held significant roles at Vans, a VF Company, where they served as the Global Design Manager and Design Director from 2001 to 2003. Thom also worked as the Lead Designer for Surf, Skate, and Snow Apparel and as the Lead Designer & Product Management Lead for Triple Crown of Surfing from 1997 to 2001. Thom started their career at Reebok, where they served as a Sr. Apparel Design Specialist for Classics, Tennis, and Graphics from 1994 to 1997. Thom Gridley attended Harvard Business School in 2021, where they completed the Entrepreneur Essentials program. The program focused on Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies. Prior to that, Thom pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Although the start and end dates are not specified, they pursued coursework in Illustration, with a focus on Fashion Illustration and 3D Animation.
