Vikas Soni

Vikas Soni is a Senior Data Engineer at Heyday since October 2022, where Vikas has engineered and optimized the Snowflake data platform, developed an automated ETL code generation tool, and implemented robust data quality systems. Prior to this role, Vikas was a Lead Data Engineer at Quantiphi from May 2021 to October 2022, leading the development of enterprise-scale data infrastructure and high-performance data pipelines. As a Senior Data Consultant at Factspan Inc. from August 2019 to May 2021, Vikas developed a custom PySpark/Python framework and migrated complex SQL workloads to the Spark ecosystem. Vikas began the career at Jio as an Engineer from June 2016 to April 2019, where data modeling techniques were applied to enhance telecom network quality. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the National Institute of Technology Surat.
