Ruth Gomez Balaguer

Ruth Gomez Balaguer (nee Patterson) currently serves as General Counsel at Semble since February 2025 and has held the position of Chairperson and Non-Executive Director at Inclusion Housing since August 2019. Previously, Ruth was General Counsel and Company Secretary at boxxe until December 2024, and General Counsel & Operations Director at Hive Learning from July 2019 to August 2022. Other roles include General Counsel at Piksel and Legal Counsel at TT International. Ruth began a legal career at Herbert Smith Freehills, progressing from Trainee Solicitor to Associate, and provided legal expertise as an Associate Solicitor during a restructuring project at Hibu. Educational credentials include an LLM and Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Manchester.
