EJ Capetillo

EJ Capetillo has worked in the software engineering industry since 2012. EJ began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), where they developed an Eclipse plugin to automate parallelization of user codes. In 2013, they joined Infor as a Software Developer, where they were part of a Task Team responsible for resolving system defects and implementing client requests. EJ then moved to Apple Leisure Group in 2016 as a Software Developer, where they were the team lead and responsible for team planning/knowledge transfer meetings and coordinating with business and engineering teams during the SAFe Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions. In 2018, they joined projekt202 as a Software Developer, collaborating with a large global logistics firm to implement their Retail Transformation project using Java and Spring. In 2019, they joined WNDYR as a Senior Software Engineer, coding primarily in Golang and responsible for the design and implementation of features for the company's Pattyrn application. Lastly, in 2022, they joined Heymarket as a Senior Software Engineer.

EJ Capetillo obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin between 2009 and 2013.
