Luis Rodríguez García has worked in various roles in the IT industry since 2006. In 2006, they were a Network Administrator Junior at Trinity College Dublin, where they provided support to the Networking and Infrastructure Department and collaborated in infrastructure and systems migration. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Technical Team Leader at COGILCO, where they were responsible for deploying and managing network infrastructure and Windows server infrastructure. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a System and Network Administrator at Telvent, where they were responsible for developing and managing IT projects to be deployed in Spain and abroad. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a System and Network Administrator at iSOFT, and from 2010 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Systems & Networks Engineer at Knockout Gaming. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Gaming Innovation Group, where they worked on a new project that required the use of DevOps tools such as Terraform or Ansible to implement from scratch the whole infrastructure over a Cloud provider (AWS) and then build the necessary Kubernetes cluster to orchestrate all the microservices (docker containers) that were needed to deploy (GitLab) apps. Currently, they are working as a SRE | DevOps | Cloud Engineer at HeyTrade, where they are part of an amazing team to develop a very interesting and challenging project with the most cutting-edge technologies.
Luis Rodríguez García has an extensive education history. Luis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Málaga between 1999 and 2005. From 2005 to 2006, they obtained MCSA/MCSE Windows 2003 Certifications from FORMAN - Centro de Formación de Comunicaciones y Tecnologías de la Informática. In 2007 and 2008, they obtained a CISCO CCNA from the same institution. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from various institutions, including ITIL v3 Foundation from ITIL Certified in December 2010, MCSE 2003 from Microsoft in March 2006, CCNA Routing and Switching from Cisco in October 2015, FCNSP v5 Fortinet Certified Network Security Professional from Fortinet in June 2015, FCNSA v5 Fortinet Certified Network Security Administrator from Fortinet in May 2015, CCENT (ICDN 1) from Cisco in January 2014, and CCNA from Cisco in May 2007.
