Sean Horton

Sean Horton is an experienced engineering and project management professional with a strong background in the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Manager of the Lean Capital Projects Group at HF Sinclair since December 2023, Sean previously held the position of Sr. Project Manager at Anvil Corporation, focusing on the BP Cherry Point program. Sean's extensive expertise also includes roles as a Project Engineer at VECA Professional Services and Phillips 66, working on capital design and construction projects at the Phillips 66 Ferndale Refinery. Earlier experience includes positions with Jacobs Engineering and Shell Oil Company, where Sean coordinated and managed various downstream projects and upgrades. Sean earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mining, and Geological Engineering from South Dakota Mines.
