Parvez Makdum

Parvez Makdum is a seasoned information security professional currently serving as the Head of Information Security at HFC Bank in Fiji since July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager and Manager of IT Infrastructure and Communication Services at BSP Financial Group Limited from October 2019 to October 2024, and as a Senior Systems Engineer at Bank of South Pacific from September 2014 to October 2019. Parvez also held positions as Systems Engineer at Bank of South Pacific from September 2012 to September 2014, Manager of Engineering at Syscentral, and ICT Security Engineer at Latent Workforce Pty Ltd. Earlier experience includes serving as IT Security Administrator at Fiji National Provident Fund and Production Control System Specialist at ACS, a Xerox Company. Parvez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Math from the University of the South Pacific, attained between 2001 and 2005.
