Joann Brookes

JoAnn Brookes, AIA, LEED AP, serves as Associate Vice President and Senior Associate at HGA since June 2021. Previously, JoAnn held senior roles at Perkins Eastman, including Project Architect and Senior Associate, contributing to the Stanford University Medical Center replacement hospital. JoAnn has extensive experience in architecture and project management, having worked with firms such as KRJ Architects, CRB, HOK, Fox Architects, Woolpert, and Jacobs Engineering. JoAnn has successfully designed facilities for the pharmaceutical sector and educational institutions, while also providing LEED consulting and construction administration services. In addition, JoAnn was an active board member of the USGBC - Missouri Gateway Chapter for eleven years, holding various leadership positions. JoAnn holds a Master's degree in Architecture and Construction Management from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor's degree in Geology with a Physics minor from Whittier College.
