James Clifford

James Clifford serves as the Chief Executive Officer of HGVC since March 2018, where leadership focuses on licence acquisition and fleet training solutions for blue chip companies. Additionally, James holds the position of Director at HGVT, a B2C company specializing in licence acquisition for commercial vehicle drivers, including HGV, bus, forklift, ambulance, and construction equipment operators. Previously, James was Joint CEO at Specialised Training Services Limited from July 2013 to August 2020, contributing to its status as the largest HGV Training provider in the UK. James began a career in education as a Teacher of Mathematics at University College School, achieving notable student success. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in War Studies from Kings College London and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Bristol.
