Marco Lara P.e.

Marco Lara, P.E. has over 16 years of work experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, specializing in the design of power and control systems for movable bridges. Marco has held the position of Senior Electrical Engineer at Hardesty & Hanover, LLC since 2018, where their responsibilities include designing and specifying electrical control systems, power systems, major drive systems, lightning protection, roadway/interior lighting design, and backup power generation systems for movable bridge projects. Additionally, at Hardesty & Hanover, LLC, Marco is responsible for specialty engineering design and specification of Cathodic Protection Systems for both movable and fixed bridge projects.

Prior to their current position, Marco worked at AECOM from 2007 to 2018 as an Electrical Engineer, performing similar design and specification tasks for movable bridge projects, as well as specializing in Cathodic Protection Systems.

Earlier in their career, Marco gained experience as a Development Engineer at IN/US Systems from 2006 to 2007, and as an Electrical Design Engineer at Frontline Communications from 2004 to 2006.
