Blair McDonald Thomas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and program management within the cybersecurity domain. Currently serving as the Manager of the Communication and Reporting Service at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services since July 2014, Blair oversees program management support for the CSIRC Director, develops strategic communications plans, and leads a team of eight employees and contractors. Previously, as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, Blair provided security support to the Department of Veterans Affairs and managed various aspects of the Information Security Program, focusing on performance metrics, risk analysis, and strategic planning. Blair’s early career includes roles as an intern for U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss and as a student assistant at the Georgia Tech Information Security Center, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
