Ricardo Varela

Ricardo Varela has extensive experience in aviation and engineering, currently serving as the CAMO Coordinator for Safety Report & Reliability at HI FLY since February 2017. In this role, responsibilities include management of reliability reports, conducting internal investigations, and serving as a technical liaison with the Safety Department. Previous positions at HI FLY included AOG Technical Support and Defects Control and Reliability Engineer, where troubleshooting and monitoring technical defects were key tasks. Prior to joining HI FLY, Ricardo was a Mechanical Drawing Teacher at Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal, specializing in CATIA V5, and worked as a Methods Engineer at LAUAK GROUPE focusing on EASA Part 21G standards.
