Mark Phillippe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mark is the Founder & CEO of Hi Sign Brewing since December 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Sales Executive at Siemens from August 2013 to October 2015. Mark also served in the United States Marine Corps as a Company Executive Officer and Infantry Officer from May 2012 to March 2013 and from December 2009 to April 2012, respectively. In addition, they worked as an Advance Representative at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from April 2008 to January 2009, and as a Volunteer Press/Site Advance at the Executive Office of the President, The White House from January 2008 to January 2009. Mark's earlier experience includes roles as a Missouri Field Representative and Regional Coalitions Coordinator at Bush-Cheney '04 in 2004.
Mark Phillippe has a solid education history. In 1998, they began their undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government in 2003. In 2012, they attended the University of California, Davis, where they studied the Basics of Brewing. The following year, they briefly enrolled at Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management to focus on Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations. More recently, from 2018 to 2020, Mark pursued postgraduate education at the Texas McCombs School of Business, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Mark is also currently engaged in the Business of Craft Brewing program at Portland State University.
