Julie Burnett is an experienced professional in immigrant youth advocacy and legal support, currently serving as an Immigrant Youth Advocacy Case Manager at HIAS Pennsylvania since January 2024. Prior to this role, Julie worked as a Temporary Paralegal and then a Paralegal on the Family Separations Team at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) from October 2021 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as a Legal Assistant at the International Institute of Akron from January 2019 to September 2021 and various roles as an ESL Teacher at institutions such as Paradigm Prep and Colombia Bilingue.
