Julie Kozi

Julie Kozi has a diverse work experience. Julie started their career as an ESL Instructor at ASA College in 2014 and later transitioned to an English Second Language Instructor at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College in 2015. In 2015, they also took on the role of ESL Coordinator at America Works, where they worked until 2019. Julie then became an Office Administrator at Teachers College, Columbia University in 2019. In 2020, they joined HIAS as a Legal Intern. Currently, they are working as a Legal Intern at MAIN STREET LEGAL SERVICES INC, started in 2021.

Julie Kozi's education history begins in 2004 when they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Towson University. Between 2009 and 2011, they pursued a Master's Degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from the same institution. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2013, Julie attended Teachers College, Columbia University, earning a Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Following this, between 2013 and 2015, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Applied Linguistics at Teachers College, Columbia University. Currently, Julie is enrolled in the City University of New York School of Law, working towards their Doctor of Law - JD, with an expected completion date in 2023.
