Laurie Bast

Laurie Bast is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of People Operations at HIAS since January 2018, Laurie previously held positions such as Director of Human Resources and Administration at HIAS, Human Resources Director at Toole Design Group, and Director of Human Resources & Administration at Women for Women International. Additional experience includes roles at Liquidity Services, Inc., Arbinet, and Lafayette Federal Credit Union, where Laurie began a career in marketing before transitioning to human resources. Academically, Laurie holds an MBA and a Master's in Human Resources from the University of Maryland Global Campus, along with a Bachelor's degree in Management from the University of Delaware.
