Eric Tioe

Eric Tioe is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in the petroleum industry. Currently serving as a Senior Development Geoscientist at Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad since January 2019, Eric previously held the position of Senior Geophysicist at SapuraOMV from April 2014 to January 2019, and prior to that, worked as a Senior Exploration Geophysicist at ExxonMobil from November 2001 to April 2014. Eric began the professional journey with a vacation training stint at Teknosif Sdn. Bhd. in 1999, focusing on 3D Marine and 2D Land Seismic Data Processing. Eric holds a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Universiti Brunei Darussalam and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
