Natasha Eckard

Natasha Eckard has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 as the Owner and Photographer of Modern Imagery Photography. In 2015, they transitioned to a teaching role at Hickory Public Schools, where they developed course curriculums for Adobe and Drone Technology courses. In 2016, they became an Instructor at Catawba Valley Community College, responsible for developing and managing course materials. Natasha also served as a Board Member at Full Circle Arts, a nonprofit artist co-op, where they managed social media and web content. Additionally, they worked briefly as an Online Career Development Facilitator at Commonwealth Corporation in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Communications & Community Relations at Hickory Public Schools.

Natasha Eckard completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Photography from Catawba Valley Community College, where they enrolled from 2004 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Natasha has obtained various certifications. In 2015, they became an Adobe Certified Associate in Graphic Design & Illustration Using Adobe Illustrator, an Adobe Certified Associate in Print & Digital Media Publication Using Adobe InDesign, and an Adobe Certified Associate in Visual Communication Using Adobe Photoshop. In 2016, they earned the Adobe Certified Associate in Web Authoring Using Adobe Dreamweaver certification, as well as the Adobe Certified Associate in Video Communication Using Adobe Premiere Pro. Natasha further expanded their skillset in 2018 by completing the Adobe Certified Associate in Web Authoring Using Adobe Dreamweaver certification.

Moreover, Natasha Eckard obtained their Part 107 remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2020. Most recently, in 2021, they completed the Applying the QM Rubric certification from QM Quality Matters.
